*details drive them to distraction
*may neglect living in the present as the future looks so much brighter than the present

*ideas can become causes- spend too much time and energy on those many, many projects/ more causes than it is possible to attend to
*idealistic goals may lead to depression if incomplete or unattainable!!
*may need help remaining objective
*want to do every project, learn every topic, please everyone involved BUT they may be unable to function without the approval of parents/teachers or peers they admire
*sensitive to nuance and the unspoken tone/ may read into the message more often than is prudent
*give too much time to their causes/helping friends and neglect their work, themselves—may neglect their school subjects or less people oriented projects
*will bend the rules on behalf of other people or interpersonal causes
*their pace of approach may be too frenetic for peers or the adults they are involved with
*competition will move the ENFP to defend the underdog or refuse to participate because someone must lose
*very hard on themselves—difficult for them to reach their own ideal–if a project becomes ’routine’ they may lose interest or abandon the project
*may identify too much with others— may be burdened by others troubles or expectations ( innocent in their belief in their idols)— greatly affected by the opinions of others—real or imagined
*may gather and acknowledge only the data that confirms their hypothesis leaving them open to serious lapses in judgement
*they don’t let irritating facts ruin a perfectly imaginative concept
*can be intellectual or emotional butterflies ( is that all there is)
*idealism fades ( or is bruised and bent) when it encounters day to day living
*reality has difficulty living up to their ideal—looking for the perfect product
