ESFJ: JESSE SALLANDER (MAMA) ” No job is too big  and no job is too small”

He is the HEAD CHARGE NURSE ( MAMA) who directs the workings of the Emergency room and keeps the staff all together.  He loves them, he organizes them, he orients the new Residents to the Emergency rotation, he helps prioritize who gets care first and keeps all hell from breaking loose .  He cares for the residents like they are his children, sometimes scolding them, teaching them, comforting them and in the end setting them on a career path with hearts more open than when they arrived. MAMA always says “We are not allowed to kill a guest in Mama’s house” All the patients who arrive in emergency are his guests and when in CODE BLACK ( no more room in the Emerg) and the ambulances are backing up at the door  he announces ”   Someone’s at the front door and no one is turned away from my door!!! ” When he is not there the emergency ward comes unglued. When he has a heart attack the staff  ( Doctors, Nurses and Residents) are troubled, frenzied emotionally unsettled and in a disorganized mess.
